About

Racepace is built by two endurance athletes who believe everyone deserves great coaching. It is made in Boston, Massachusetts, it is free to use, and it does not ask for a credit card.

What Racepace is

Racepace is an AI cycling coach. You connect the devices you already ride with — Garmin, Wahoo, WHOOP — and Racepace reads your full training history: power, heart rate, volume, fueling, sleep, and the races you have on the calendar. From there it works the way a coach does. Ask for a plan for a century, a crit, a gravel race, or just getting stronger, and you get one built around your FTP, your schedule, and what you have actually been doing rather than a template. Ask a question and you get an answer grounded in your own numbers.

How it works day to day

Coaching happens in a conversation, not a spreadsheet. Tell your coach you missed a week, that you are traveling, that your legs are cooked, or that you want to move your long ride to Sunday, and the plan changes to match. That is the part most training software gets wrong: a plan you cannot renegotiate stops being a plan the first time life interferes. Racepace is available whenever you want to ask it something, and it remembers the context — no re-explaining your goals every session.

Why we built it

Good coaching works, and almost nobody can afford it. A human coach who knows your history, watches your data, and adapts your week is out of reach for most amateur racers, so people end up on generic plans they abandon. We think every athlete deserves world-champion coaching without breaking the bank. We built Racepace because we wanted it ourselves, and we use it for our own racing.
